A survey by the Federal Reserve shows that workplace adoption of AI tools is heavily concentrated among higher-income earners in the United States.
According to the data, 66.3% of individuals earning over $200,000 annually reported using AI tools in the past 12 months, compared to just 15.9% of those earning under $50,000.
This disparity highlights a growing gap in access to advanced technologies, which may further widen productivity and income inequalities across different segments.
