Reddit has officially joined the S&P 500, with estimates suggesting that index-tracking funds will purchase approximately 16.7 million shares of Reddit ($RDDT), worth nearly $3 billion.
Reddit shares surged nearly 13% on Friday following news of the inclusion, before falling 7.5% to $164.50 on Monday, ahead of its official addition to the index.
