Strategy announced the acquisition of an additional 24,869 Bitcoin for approximately $2.01 billion, at an average purchase price of $80,985 per BTC.
According to the company’s latest disclosure, total Bitcoin holdings have now reached 843,738 BTC as of May 17, 2026, with cumulative purchases totaling nearly $63.87 billion.
Strategy continues to strengthen its position as the largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, reinforcing its long-term institutional bet on the world’s leading cryptocurrency.
Analysts believe continued large-scale institutional accumulation could further tighten available market supply, particularly as Bitcoin exchange balances remain near multi-year lows.
