Strategy Proposes Biweekly Dividend Payments for STRC to Boost Capital Efficiency

Strategy has proposed shifting STRC dividend payments from monthly to biweekly, with potential implementation in June 2026 pending shareholder approval.

Strategy has introduced a strategic proposal to modify the dividend distribution mechanism of STRC, shifting from a monthly schedule to biweekly payments in an effort to enhance capital efficiency and improve the appeal of income-generating assets.

According to the proposal, a preliminary proxy filing was submitted on April 17, with official documentation expected on April 28. The voting process is anticipated to conclude by June 8. If approved, the new dividend structure would take effect on June 30, with the first biweekly payout scheduled for July 15.

The core objective of this adjustment is to shorten the capital reinvestment cycle, allowing investors to receive cash flows more frequently, thereby improving capital utilization efficiency. Additionally, more frequent distributions are expected to support market liquidity, increase trading activity, and enhance STRC’s attractiveness among yield-focused assets.

The increased payout frequency may also help mitigate the impact of market volatility on investor returns by distributing income over shorter intervals, providing a degree of stability.

This move comes amid growing investor demand for stable cash flows and high liquidity. The company appears to be aligning its strategy with these market trends while strengthening the competitiveness of its financial products. Similar mechanisms in traditional financial markets have demonstrated improved capital turnover efficiency, potentially positioning this model as a new benchmark for dividend structures in digital asset ecosystems.
