The total market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) has surpassed $42 billion, according to Token Terminal data, highlighting the sector’s rapid expansion across digital asset markets.
The data shows Ethereum remains the dominant blockchain for RWAs with more than 60% market share, while tokenized funds and U.S. Treasury products continue leading liquidity and capital inflows.
The sector has also seen strong growth in issuers, tokenized assets, and cross-chain activity as traditional financial institutions increasingly adopt blockchain infrastructure to digitize real-world financial products.
Analysts believe RWAs are becoming one of the defining investment themes of 2026, with further institutional adoption expected from banks, asset managers, and global investment firms.
