The market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and transaction activity on Ethereum’s mainnet have reached new all-time highs, according to Token Terminal data.
The report highlights strong growth in Ethereum L1 usage for managing and trading tokenized assets such as bonds, credit products, investment funds, and traditional financial instruments, with the sector’s market cap surpassing $27 billion.
Monthly transaction volumes also surged sharply, signaling accelerating institutional adoption of blockchain-based tokenization infrastructure.
Analysts believe the RWA sector is becoming one of the fastest-growing segments in crypto, particularly as major financial institutions continue expanding into tokenized finance throughout 2026.
