انتهت محادثات عالية المستوى بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران دون اتفاق، بسبب خلافات حادة حول الملف النووي ومضيق هرمز.

انتهت محادثات رفيعة المستوى بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران دون التوصل إلى اتفاق، بعد 21 ساعة من المفاوضات المكثفة التي عُقدت في إسلام آباد، في انتكاسة كبيرة للمسار الدبلوماسي بين البلدين.

وغادر نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه دي فانس المفاوضات بعد فشل الطرفين في حل الخلافات الرئيسية، مؤكدًا أن واشنطن قدمت “أفضل عرض نهائي”، إلا أن إيران رفضت قبوله.

وتمحورت نقاط الخلاف الأساسية حول رفض إيران التخلي عن تخصيب اليورانيوم، إلى جانب تمسكها بالسيطرة الكاملة على مضيق هرمز، أحد أهم الممرات الحيوية لنقل النفط عالميًا.

وبحسب التقارير، دخلت إيران المفاوضات بأربعة شروط غير قابلة للتفاوض، تشمل السيادة الكاملة على مضيق هرمز، وتعويضات حرب شاملة، والإفراج غير المشروط عن الأصول المجمدة، بالإضافة إلى وقف إطلاق نار شامل في المنطقة يمتد إلى لبنان.

في المقابل، طالبت الولايات المتحدة بضمان حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، وتعهد واضح بعدم سعي إيران لامتلاك سلاح نووي.

وأكد فانس أن رفض إيران للعرض الأمريكي ستكون له تداعيات أكبر على طهران مقارنة بواشنطن، قائلاً إن “إيران اختارت عدم قبول شروطنا”.

وتُعد هذه المحادثات أول لقاء مباشر وجهًا لوجه بين مسؤولين من البلدين منذ الثورة الإسلامية عام 1979، ورغم طابعها التاريخي، انتهت دون أي تقدم يُذكر، مما يعكس عمق الخلافات بين الطرفين.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance departed the talks after both sides failed to resolve key disagreements. According to Vance, Washington presented its “final and best offer,” but Iran declined to accept the proposed terms.

The breakdown centered on two primary issues: Iran’s refusal to abandon uranium enrichment and its insistence on maintaining full control over the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategic النفط corridors.

Iran reportedly entered the negotiations with four non-negotiable demands, including full sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, comprehensive war reparations, the unconditional release of frozen assets, and a region-wide ceasefire extending to Lebanon.

In contrast, the United States pushed for guaranteed freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and firm assurances that Iran would never pursue nuclear weapons.

Vance emphasized that Iran’s decision to reject the offer would carry greater consequences for Tehran than for Washington, stating that “Iran has chosen not to accept our terms.”

The talks marked the first direct face-to-face meeting between U.S. and Iranian officials since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
